Residential & Commercial
Suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, corridors, hotel lobbies, offices, and retail spaces — the most versatile large-format size.

Most Exported Size
Our 600×1200mm range is our most exported product — trusted by distributors and project developers across 60+ countries.
Why 600x1200mm Is the Most Popular Large Format Tile Size
The 600x1200mm tile format has achieved dominance in the market for several compelling reasons. First, the 1:2 aspect ratio creates a natural, elongated visual rhythm on the floor that makes spaces appear longer and more spacious — particularly effective in corridors, open-plan living areas, and commercial lobbies. Second, the size is large enough to dramatically reduce grout lines compared to 600x600mm tiles (approximately 50% fewer grout lines), creating a cleaner, more seamless appearance. Third, at 600x1200mm, tiles can still be handled and installed by two people without specialist lifting equipment, keeping installation costs manageable.
At Livenza Granito, our 600x1200mm range is our most extensive, covering GVT (matt, rustic, carving, sugar finishes) and PGVT (polished, high-gloss finishes) in a wide range of marble-look, stone-look, concrete-look, and abstract designs.
Technical Specifications: 600x1200mm Tiles
Our 600x1200mm porcelain tiles are manufactured to the following specifications: dimensions 600x1200mm (±0.3mm calibration tolerance), thickness 9mm standard (12mm available), water absorption <0.5% (ISO 10545-3), breaking strength >1300N (ISO 10545-4), surface hardness Mohs 6–7, PEI abrasion resistance 4–5, DCOF >0.42 wet (matt/rustic finishes), chemical resistance Class A, frost resistance Class F. All tiles are rectified for seamless installation with grout joints as narrow as 1.5mm.
Installation Tips for 600x1200mm Tiles
Successful installation of 600x1200mm tiles requires: a perfectly flat substrate (maximum 3mm deviation over 2m — use self-levelling compound if needed), large-format tile adhesive (C2S1 or C2S2 classification), full-bed adhesive coverage (minimum 95% coverage — no spot bonding), appropriate expansion joints at perimeter and every 4–5m in the field, and a minimum 3mm grout joint (1.5mm for rectified tiles). Always lay tiles in a staggered brick pattern (offset by 1/3 or 1/2) to avoid continuous grout lines that can cause cracking.
